GOVERNMENT IMPRESSED WITH WORLD FUNDS IN EDUCATION SECTOR

Ministry of Education says it is impressed with the World Bank funded Malawi Education Sector Improvement Project [MESIP] in primary schools.

Minister disclosed this yesterday in Mzimba.

Deputy Minister of Education Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima made the remarks   when she appreciated such interventions at Luviri and Kasambankholi primary schools in Mzimba south.

Meanwhile Deputy Minister Madalitso Kambauwa said the fund will resulted into increased enrollment and retention of girl learners in primary schools.

‘’ Among others through the project a number number of classroom blocks and girls change rooms have been constructed in primary schools,” said Wirima.
