TUM STRIKE AFFECTS LEARNERS’ CURRICULUM

Failure by government and TUM leadership to resolve their disagreements over Covid -19 allowance demands by the teachers, has left learners in an awkward position with a tedious task to recover academic content on the curriculum.

An Education Expert Limbani Nsapato has cautioned that failure to gain on the time lost due to teachers stay away will affect the completion of the curriculum and students preparations for examinations.

The Ministry of Education Spokesperson Chikondi  Chimala  said that the government will not review the school calendar.

According to TUM president Willy Malimba said that TUM will look into such issues depending on the outcome of their discussions with government.
