TNM bites, forces employees to receive COVID-19 vaccines

Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) has ordered all its employees to receive the Covid-19 vaccine under a mandatory 10 day period.

This has been revealed in a leaked internal memorandum circulating on social media.

But Chief Executive Officer of the telecommunication company, Arnold Mbwana, said it is not mandatory per se for the employees to receive the jab.

“As TNM, we are taking the pandemic seriously considering its severe ramifications on our lives and business. It is not mandatory [to our employees], but we are encouraging every member of staff to get vaccinated,” he said.
