Police in Nsanje have arrested a fellow police officer for Marka Police station, Richard Mpomba and two others, Sosten James (goats herd) and Chosadziwa Chiku (cattle heard) for stealing 13 goats belonging to Dr. Medson Matchaya, District Commissioner for Nsanje District Council.
According Nsanje Police Station in-charge, Mrs Carolyne Jere confirmed the development saying Dr. Matchaya reported the matter on 29 March, 2022 that his 13 goats were missing.
The goats herdman, the suspect brought back the goats to the kraal as usual. At about 16:30hrs the complainant started receiving information from the well wishers that the rank is keeping his goats inside his bamboo fence, he then the rushed to the village for verification.
