Enlightened Christian Gathering leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has valid reasons to trend following his outpouring support to the sports sector in the country by buying soccer legend Kinna Phiri’s ‘The Four-legged Wizard’ at K5 million last night at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
Speaking through his spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo during the event, Bushiri underlined the importance of honoring national heroes with Kinnah Phiri being one of them.
“I believe we all have the responsibility to make sure that we support our heroes. Kinnah, just like Chancy Gondwe, Spy Msiska, Peterkins Kayira, and many others are our people, they made us happy, they made us feel respected as Malawians, we need to honor them,” said Nyondo.
Bushiri further thanked Sports Minister Richard Chimwendo for gracing the event and also working on bringing Kinna Phiri back into the football development initiative in the country.
