Gladys Ganda, law maker for Nsanje Lalanje has faulted the construction of the tollgate in her district which has been approved by the Nsanje District Council.
According to Ganda, the construction of the tollgate is not her main focus in the district because a lot of people are in need of food, clean water and shelter due to the floods that destroyed a lot in the district.
Andrew Piriminta, Chairperson for the council development committee convinced the full council meeting on Thursday that the tollgate is the source of revenue collection point in the district.
This development has come after the construction of Chingeni tollgate which is making a lot of millions in the country.
