Two In Cooler For Being Found With Chamba In Ntchisi

Spokesperson for the Central East Police Region Esther Mkwanda has confirmed the arrests of two men identified as Noel Ngwira, a driver and aged 23 and Evance Gomani aged or allegedly being found in possession of 380 bags of Chambain Ntchisi.
Mkwanda said the two were arrested yesterday at a place called Sopani along the Kasungu-Malomo road while carrying the said chamba in a SCANIA Truck registration number NS5853.
She said police worked on a tip from well wishers who alleged that they had seen a vehicle suspected to have carried the said ilicit crop.
The two will appear before court soon.
