Catholic Priest Reverend Petros Mwale mocks Chakwera’s smile

Reverend Petros Chikayiko Mwale, a Parish Priest at St. Cecilia Catholic Parish in Mpherembe under Mzuzu Diocese has joined Malawians in publicly condemning President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera leadership style.

The development comes barely a day after motorists in the capital Lilongwe over the weekend booed President Chakwera’s convoy which was heading to Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).

In a statues massage seen by this publication, the Catholic Priest posted a photo of Chakwera’s face with a beautiful smile.

In the status, the Priest said Chakwera’s smile irritate Malawians.

“Such smiles by the President only irritates and provokes many in the suffering,” wrote Reverend Mwale.

The statement from the Catholic Priest has attracted mixed reactions with many applauding the Priest for clearing his throat.

Government is yet to comment on the matter.
