Right Activists Seodi White Disrupt Church Service in Blantyre (watch video)

Well-known human right activist cum-lawyer Seodi White is currently trending on social media after disrupting a church service in her neighbourhood over noise.

In the video clip seen by this publication, White is seen shouting at church members over the noise they were making.

“I want this noise to stop, it’s too much,” White is quoted as saying in the video.

In reaction one of the church members reacted angry by calling White as devil who invaded the church to be delivered.

The video has attracted mixed reactions with many applauding White while attacking Pentecostal churches.

Emmanuel Michael Mwanyongo wrote: “I have a similar neighbour to Seodi White only that mine operates some sort of community house and not a church. You cannot work from home. Studying is also a very difficult task. They turn their stereo, make merry and noise everyday and they don’t give a damn about their neighbours.

“Nafenso one day tidzawawerukira ”.

Concurring with Mwanyongo’s remarks Elijah Mike Banda wrote: “I stand with human rights lawyer Seodi White in her video gone viral in which she went to reprimand her neighbour who has set up a prayer house just next to her apartment. This neighbour makes alot of noise day in day out causing alot of discomfort to her and the rest of her family.

“Fellow Malawians, prayerhouses, beer halls and so on and so forth should never be allowed in residential areas. They are a source of noise pollution, a violation to human rights.

“My thoughts are for Seodi and her family.”
