Mutharika’s son Tadikira to appear in court today

Tadikira Mafubza, a step son to former President Peter Mutharika will appear in court today for formal charges and bail application.

Mutharika’s step son was arrested on Wednesday on allegations that he is connected to the mass grave discovered in Mzimba district a month ago.

National Police Spokesperson Peter Kalaya has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Kalaya, the driver who is suspected to have been used to transport and dump the bodies in the forest has also surrendered himself to police.

The driver has been identified as Sam Nayeja.
