Sulom Postpones TNM Super League Matches Involving Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Silver Strikers

Date:

In accordance with Article 49.2 of the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) rules and regulations, TNM Super League matches involving Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Silver Strikers have been postponed. The article states that teams contributing four players or more to the Malawi National Football Team should be exempted from their league fixtures.

The Nomads, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, were set to travel to Dwangwa in Nkhotakota to face Mafco FC, while Silver Strikers were scheduled to take on Extreme FC at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe, both matches originally planned for Saturday.

However, one team has decided to go ahead with their fixture despite meeting the national team player criteria.

FCB Nyasa Bullets have announced that they will fulfill their match against Blue Eagles at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Sunday, despite having four players currently participating in the Cosafa Cup in Durban, South Africa.
