Senior Resident Magistrate Wanangwa Chirwa is this afternoon expected to deliver his ruling on an application Bon Kalindo’s lawyer made to have his warrant of arrest suspended and vacated.
Kalindo was arrested on Friday for breaching bail conditions.
He is answering charges of publishing false news likely to cause fear and alarm to the public.
In 2021, Kalindo claimed to know people who were behind the killings of people with albinism on TV.
Among his bail conditions was to be reporting to National Police Headquarters every fortnight but according to police, he has not done so since April this year.
