“Man Sentenced to 14 Years for Defiling 4-Year-Old Stepdaughter in Phalombe

The first grade magistrate court in Phalombe has sentenced Joseph Takisi, 35, to 14 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling a girl aged four.
State prosecutor, Dingiswayo Mbepula, told the court that the offence was committed on August 31, 2023.
The girl is his step daughter. Takisi pleaded not guilty prompting the state to parade five witnesses.
Passing judgement, magistrate Leonard Mtosa, found Takisi guilty and jailed him.
