Five G4S Guards Arrested Over Metal Theft at Castel Malawi

Five security guards employed by G4S have been arrested in Blantyre on suspicion of stealing metal from a brewery operated by Castel Malawi in the Makata area of Ndirande.
Ndirande Police spokesperson, Chibisa Mulimbika, said in the early hours of yesterday, police officers intercepted a vehicle carrying the suspected stolen metal.
The vehicle’s driver, Yohane Isaac, was immediately arrested.
Following the development, police also arrested five security guards in connection with the incident. The suspects have been identified as Stephano Mkweza, Mervin Makawa, Lewis Master, Thomas Moses, and Blessings Joseph.
All suspects will appear before court soon.
