Man Killed After Vehicle Veers Off M5 Road in Nkhata Bay

A man identified as Godfrey Mwenda has died after a vehicle swerved off the M5 Road at Mango Stage in the Lwazi area of Nkhata Bay District.
The vehicle was travelling from Mzuzu towards Nkhata Bay when it lost control and hit Mwenda as he sat under a tree.
Nkhata Bay Police Deputy Spokesperson Devoter Mithi confirmed the incident.
He said Mwenda sustained a severe head injury and was rushed to Nkhata Bay District Hospital for treatment. Mwenda was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
