MUBAS Student Found Dead in Hostel Ceiling

A student identified as Paul Mtenje, popularly known as Pabro, has reportedly been found dead inside the ceiling of Mpingwe Hostel at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences in Blantyre.
According to sources, the body was discovered by workers carrying out activities at the hostel. The body was reportedly already in a decomposed state at the time it was found.
Sources further indicate that a bottle of Malawi Gin beer was found near the body.
The discovery has shocked students and members of the public, with many questioning how long the body had been in the ceiling and what may have happened.
The body has since been taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital for further examinations.
Police and MUBAS authorities were yet to release an official statement on the matter at the time of reporting.
