Patients at Malembo Health Centre in Lilongwe have been left stranded as medical personnel have turned down their tools in quest to force authorities to address water challenges at the facility.
Source at the facility say the water problem started in February after the solar that were being used to pump water developed a fault.
Other sources said that despite reporting the case to administrator for Kabudula Community Hospital where Malembo reports to nothing has been done to fix the problem.
However this has now put patients in an awkward situation as they are not being attended to by medical personnel at the hospital.
Meanwhile the Administrator for Kabudula Community Hospital Jean Kaponda she did not comment on the matter.
