Malawians flooding to Zambia to buy fuel

Following fuel scarcity in the country, Malawians are now flooding to neighboring Zambia to buy fuel.

According to pictures circulating on social media platforms, filling stations in Chipata Zambia are congested with Malawians resulting into fuel shortage in most filling stations in the area.

For the past two weeks, Malawians have been struggling to get fuel due to lack of forex making government unable to purchase fuel.

But over the weekend, the Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) said this week the situation will be addressed, hopefully.

However, the situation keeps worsening.
