All form four students at Thyolo Secondary School have been sent home for protesting against the school management the past few weeks.
Thyolo District Education Management (DEM) Godfrey Kubwese confirmed the development but he could not divulge more details.
According to Kubwese, the form four students had taken to the streets questioning an alleged conduct by the teachers for favoring form two students.
The students complained that the teachers were favoring form two students by distributing learning materials to them.
Ministry of Education authorities are yet to comment.
