President Lazarus Chakwera has bought the first Malawi Council for the Handicaped (MACOHA) flag at K2 million as part of donation to the council.
Chakwera purchased the flag today when he inaugurated this year’s the MACOHA flag week at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.
The president has also advised organizations to donate towards the MACOHA week.
He has also reminded people about the need to empower persons with disability.
The week is meant to raise awareness on disability issues and raise funds.
