Man Arrested For Raping And Impregnating 16-Year-Old Girl In Ntchisi

Police in Ntchisi have arrested 21-year-old Tawina Maleso on suspicion of raping and impregnating a 16-year-old girl.
The police spokesperson for the district, Tadala Makiyi, confirmed the incident. He said Maleso is believed to have been sexually abusing the girl for an extended period. The case came to light on 21 February, when police began their investigation.
Maleso, who hails from Frank Village in the Mchiramwera Chiefdom in Thyolo, is expected to appear in court soon.
