Persistent power outages force Patience Namadingo to react angry (Watch Video)

As malawians continue to nurse the pains that the Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) is inflicting on them due to power outages, well-known gospel musician Patience Namadingo has reacted angry on the matter in a video making rounds on the social media.

In the video, Nsati Mseke hit maker highlights the pains that Malawians are passing through as a result of persistent power outages.

The highly charged singer is seen warning ESCOM officials to do something on the matter.

“Akazangomuziwa dzina amene amazimitsa magetsi, kungomuziwa nkhope kuzavuta, kungomuziwa yemwe amadina, yemwe amadina, yemwe amadina batani lozimitsira magetsi, kudzavuta (when people will find out the identity of a person responsible for switching off electricity, there will be trouble),” sings Namadingo.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Times, Namadingo said he is deeply affected by the frequent power outages in the country.

“I am a gospel artist and it’s my duty to feed people when they are hungry and frustrated,” said the singer and guitarist.

Namadingo said the country was losing out a lot due to the power shortage.
