Man Murders Wife,Mother-In-Law Over suspicion

A man who suspected his wife of having an extra-marital affair allegedly slit her throat at their residence in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. The man also murdered his mother-in-law as he suspected her of supporting his wife’s affair. After the incident, the man went to the police station with his children and surrendered before the cops.

The accused was identified as Ramkishan Saini. Saini had been married to Manju Saini and the couple had three children. The accused’s mother-in-law was identified as Gaura Devi.

Saini and his family used to stay at his in-laws’ home in Shivam Colony on Chandlai Road. At around 1 am on Monday, Saini allegedly slit the throats of his wife and mother-in-law while the rest of the family slept.

After the incident, Saini went to the Chaksu police station with his children and confessed to the crime. From there, he was taken to the Shivdaspura police station. At the Shivdaspura station, the accused confessed to the crime again, in front of his children.

The police registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A team of police rushed to Saini’s home to verify the claims, Hindustan Times reported. The police recovered Manju and Gaura Devi’s bodies from the house and the accused was detained. A team of forensic science laboratory and dog squad also reached the spot.

Saini told the police that his wife was having an illicit affair. He added that the two women were hatching a plan to kill him and he murdered them to “survive”. The claims, however, have not been verified yet. An official said, “He had no guilt about the murders and kept saying he did it to survive. He was upset his wife’s alleged relationship outside the marriage and his mother-in-law’s alleged jibes. “
