The Commissioner of Police for Central West Region (CWR) Mrs Merlyne Yolamu has welcomed her Mozambican counterpart from Tete Province, Ania Jagaje Mussa at a colourful ceremony held at CWR Police Headquarters in Area 3, Lilongwe.
Commissioner Mussa arrived with her delegation of five officers on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
The agenda of the visit is to cement the relationship that exists between the two commissioners and their areas of jurisdiction.
The two will hold a strategic meeting today at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe.
Mussa and her high-powered delegation begun by paying a courtesy call to the Inspector General of the Malawi Police Service, Dr. George Kainja at National Police Headquarters – Area 30, in Lilongwe.
In a similar development, Mrs Yolamu visited Chipata Province Police Commissioner in Zambia a week ago.
