Two arrested for over-pricing farm inputs under AIP

Two people have been arrested in Dowa and Zomba respectively for allegedly overpricing farm inputs under the Affordable Input Programme (AIP).
The suspects were allegedly selling 50 kilogram bags of fertilizer at K5,500 instead of the recommended K4,495.
They are also accused of selling packs of maize seed at K3,000 instead of the recommended K2,000.
The police from both districts are yet to comment on the matter.
