Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Malawi has said it is deeply saddened and shocked with the death of veteran media trainer Grey Mang’anda.
Mang’anda died in Blantyre on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Between 1999 and 2012, he worked as a senior lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the Malawi Polytechnic (now Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences-MUBAS) serving as the Dean of Education and Media Studies in the process.
In 2013, Mang’anda acted as Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Civic Education where he also served as the Director of Information.
He also worked as Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Until his death, Mang’anda was the Dean of Academics and Lecturer in Journalism at the Blantyre International University (BIU).
