UTM MPs spotted at ACB as they shun parley proceedings

Members of Parliament for United Transformation Movement (UTM) have boycotted Parliament proceedings to give solidarity to their leader Saulos Chilima.

Chilima is currently being questioned at Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) offices over his alleged involvement in corruption activities by UK based businessman Zuneth Sattar.

ACB named Chilima as a person of interest in the ongoing Sattar corruption case scandal.

One of the notable face at ACB is Steve Mikaya a legislature for Blantyre City West.

Speaker of the National Assembly Catherine Gotani Hara has expressed concern over a tendency by some lawmakers to miss deliberations.
