Former President Peter Mutharika has finally arrived at the funeral ceremony of former Minister of Finance and Economic Development Goodall Gondwe at Kayionanga Village, Traditional Authority Mtwalo.
Mutharika is accompanied by his wife Gertrude and some Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) top officials like George Chaponda, Bright Msaka, Joseph Mwanamvekha, leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa and others.
State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima and his wife Mary are also in attendance.
Former Speaker of Parliament Henry Chimunthu Banda, former Vice President Khumbo Hastings Kachale and others are also present at the funeral.
