PERU – A shocking incident unfolded in Peru as a nurse, Marleni Rimarachin Colunche, allegedly severed her boyfriend’s penis with a kitchen knife while he slept.
The couple, both aged 39 and parents of a three-month-old baby, had a heated argument over suspected infidelity before the violent act took place.
Despite Ms. Colunche’s claim that the injuries were self-inflicted, her partner, Iván Céspedes, denied this accusation, although he was barely conscious.
Authorities in Chota, northern Peru, are investigating the incident, and Ms. Colunche has been bailed as the investigation progresses.
According to police reports, the attack occurred after Mr. Céspedes returned home drunk, sparking a jealous rage in Ms. Colunche.
The victim, Mr. Céspedes, received immediate medical attention and is expected to undergo reconstructive surgery following the traumatic incident.
Family members expressed outrage and demanded justice for the gruesome attack on Mr. Céspedes, who suffered severe injuries requiring specialized medical care.
