President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has handed over leadership powers to his Vice Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also President of the United Transformation Movement (UTM).
Sources who confided to this publication indicates that the move has forced the court in Lilongwe to rescheduled Chilima’s corruption case to Friday next week.
President Chakwera has left the country this morning for United States of America to attend the US-Africa Business Summit.
Chakwera is expected to return home on May 10, 2024.
