Police Arrest 4 Tiktok Pranksters For Causing Malicious In Kenya (Watch Video)

Police at Kilifi in Kenya have arrested four people for filming a TikTok prank video deemed malicious outside the Police Station.

The four, have been identified as Shabir Ali Suleiman, 27, Samson Biwott Omungata, 17, Caleb Gunga Kahindi, 18, and Omar Juma Omar, 19.

According to the police statement, one of the suspects had initially asked a cleaner for permission to film inside the police premises, but was denied.

Despite this refusal, the pranksters went ahead with their plan to shoot a staged prank video outside the station.

How In the video, one individual pretended to be intoxicated and was robbed by two others on a motorcycle while being recorded by the fourth member of the group. The footage was later shared on TikTok under the account @shabir_shirazy003, with captions that read ‘Thieves in front of a police station’ and ‘Man gets robbed near a police station in Kilifi.’

The police have stated that the video not only damaged the reputation of the station but also posed a risk to public safety.

CCTV footage from the station confirmed that the suspects were indeed filming the prank video outside the building.

In response to the incident, the police impounded the motorcycle used in the prank and have assured the public that Kilifi is safe and free from criminal activities. The four suspects have revealed that their intention was to attract followers to their TikTok account, but their actions were met with serious consequences.
