Fire Destroys Two Vehicles at Garage in Mzuzu

Two vehicles were destroyed after a fire broke out at a garage near the Electoral Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) offices in Mzuzu yesterday.
Firefighters responded to the scene and managed to contain the blaze before it spread to nearby buildings, preventing further damage.
Eyewitnesses said the fire appeared to have started at the garage, although the exact cause has not yet been established.
Authorities are yet to comment on the cause of the fire or provide an official assessment of the extent of the damage.
