MUTHARIKA APPOINTS THREE MORE

Barely a day after  appointing Goodall Edward Gondwe as Minister of Finance and Economic Planning and Development, President Professor Mutharika on Sunday added three more appointments.

This is according to the Press release made available to the media signed by Chief Secretary to Government Hawa O. Ndilowe.

Mutharika has appointed  Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Publicity Secretary Nicholas Dausi as Director of the National Intelligence Bureau, Mr Lexten L. Kachama as special Deputy Inspector  General of Police responsble for Operations replacing Nelson Bophani who has been fired.

The Head of  State has also appointed Mr. Mabvuto Bamusi as Special Assistant to the President for Non-Governmental Organisation.

All the three appointees’ started their duties the moment they were appointed.
