A primary school teacher Ellah Mtimaukanena has received Mk285,000 as her pension after serving the nation for a period of 32 years, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Mtimaukanena retired in 2010 at Mzumazi Primary school since joining the civil service in 1977 as a teacher.
The retired teacher who is now aged 73 could not believe her eyes when she got the said cash. This forced her to jump from one office to the other to seek justice on the matter but to no avail.
Some well-wishers have taken the issue to social media seeking justice on the matter.
Mtimaukanena hails from Mzumazi 1 village, Traditional Authority Mtema in Lilongwe.
