DPP Councillor Patrick Botoman laid to rest

The body of former Balaka District Council Chairperson Patrick Botoman was on Monday laid to rest at his home district in Group Village Headman Njale in Traditional Authority Amidu in the district.

Until his death Botoman was serving as Councillor for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Botoman collapsed while trying to park his car within FDH bank premises on Sunday and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Balaka District Hospital.

Botoman represented Shire Ward in Balaka Central East Constituency.

He died at the age of 62.
