Bushiri pays tuition fees for 65 students at LUANAR

Date:

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has bailed out 65 students at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Luanar), Bunda Campus who were on the verge of missing examinations due to unpaid tuition fees.

The fees support, of about K26 million, accompanies a K4 million donation to the Luanar Student Christian Organisation of Malawi (Scom) for evangelism equipment.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Bushiri said he believes in supporting one another for the country to move forward, hence the financial support.

“I am a person who believes in us. I believe my problem can be solved by you, your problem can be solved by me,” he said.

Luanar Vice Chancellor, Emmanuel Kaunda, has hailed Bushiri for the support adding that there are many students in need.
