A tragic road accident in Chikwawa has resulted in the death of 5-year-old Promise Osman.
According to Sergeant Dickson Matemba, the incident occurred today at Domasi trading center along the Blantyre-Chikwawa M1 road.
The vehicle involved is a Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number BU 8266.
The driver, Chifundo Kasekera, was heading to Chikwawa and struck the boy while overspeeding.
Promise Osman, from Timbenawo village in the Chikwawa district, lost his life as a result of the collision.
