Namalomba replaces Dausi as DPP National Publicity Secretary

The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has promoted Shadreck Namalomba to the post of National Publicity Secretary with immediate effect.

Namalomba replaces the fired Mwanza Central Member of Parliament Nicholas Dausi, according to DPP Administrative Secretary Francis Mphepo.

“I am pleased to inform you that the Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has appointed you as National Publicity Secretary with immediate effect in accordance to with article 9 Sub section 5(a) of the DPP Constitution,” reads part of the statement.

The party has also appointed former Minister of Education Susuwere Banda as DPP National Director of Research with immediate effect.

The appointments comes ahead of the elective conference slated for July this year.
