State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima has expressed shock over the death of former Minister of Sport Moses Dossi.
Dossi who served as Minister of Sports under the reign of former President Dr. Bakili Muluzi, died in the wee hours of Thursday at Blantyre Adventist Hospital.
Writing on his official facebook page said the country has lost an icon.
“Madam Chilima and I convey our sincere condolences to Honourable Susan Dossi, the family, friends, and the nation at the loss of Comrade Honourable Moses Dossi.
“We are all shocked and heavily heart broken at the passing of Comrade Moses,” wrote Chilima.
He added: “Hon. Susan Dossi and the family have lost a Father, the Nation has lost an icon and a true servant of the people.”
Dossi has died at the age of 70.
