Mary’s meals’ feeding program to benefit over 4 million children

Officials from Mary’s Meals have admitted that out of 4.5 million children, 2.5 million are on the feeding program thereby pushing for more funding to feed the remaining ones.

According to The organization’s Country Director Angela Chipeta Khonje, over 2 million school going children are yet to benefit from the feeding program in Malawi.

Khonje praised Continental Discount House (CDH) investment bank for supporting Mary’s Meal in construction of a modern kitchen at Mbinda primary school with an amount of 16.9 million kwacha.

Khonje said the feeding program attracts learners to attend school and give hope to children to achieve their goals.

CDH Bank Chief Executive Officer, Kwame Ahadzi says as the bank is celebrating 10 years of providing banking services in Malawi, it will continue be in support of health and education.
